WOODBROOK PTO - FALL FUNDRAISING 2014
Fall is a really busy time for fundraising for all schools, and Woodbrook is no exception. We want to give you a run-down on upcoming PTO and school fundraisers so you can plan accordingly. Please note that we don’t expect every family to support every fundraiser. Far from it! We are offering a variety of options in the hopes that there is something for everyone’s tastes, budget and time. However, if none of these potentially interest you, we always gratefully accept donations. The Woodbrook PTO is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and direct donations are tax-deductible.
BOX TOP CLASSROOM CONTEST: October – Dates TBA
The classroom contests (2 per year) provide a little friendly classroom competition to see which class can send in the most box tops. Last year Woodbrook raised over $2000 from box tops and our goal this year is $2200!
VIRGINIA DINER & EQUAL EXCHANGE CATALOG FUNDRAISER: Thurs, October 23 – Fri, November 7
Our largest fall fundraiser is our catalog fundraiser, and we have TWO exciting companies to showcase this year: Virginia Diner peanut and snack products and Equal Exchange organic chocolate, coffee, tea and gift items. We believe these new options will give you a really wide variety of holiday gift-giving possibilities, while giving 40-50% profit to our school!

BARNES & NOBLE BOOK FAIR TO BENEFIT THE LIBRARY: Saturday, December 13th
